Job summary

Atlas Services Belgium is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead accurate monthly closings, financial reporting and tax filings for holding entities. You will drive controls, audits, and process improvements within an international finance team in Brussels.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting, Belgian GAAP knowledge, ERP and Excel proficiency, and fluency in Dutch, English and French. The position is based on-site and offers a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of Belgian GAAP and TAX regulations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in international environments is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and timely closings under Belgian GAAP.
• Prepare financial reports, reconciliations and analyses for management and Group reporting.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with controls.
• Prepare VAT, CIT and related tax documentation; coordinate with external advisors.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and controls.
• Coordinate budgets, actuals and forecasts; support consolidation requests.
• Manage treasury activities including payments, cash positions and banking relations.
