BEA Sensors, Liège, Belgium, seeks an Accounting and Tax Manager to lead the accounting and tax operations in line with Belgian GAAP, IFRS and Halma Group standards. You will oversee closing, drive internal controls, manage audits, and guide a high-performing team while partnering with stakeholders across the business.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will modernize processes, support strategic topics, and ensure compliance and robust financial information in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax or related field.
• At least 8 years of accounting and tax experience in an international/industrial environment.
• Proven experience managing and developing a team with high performance.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP, IFRS, financial reporting and closing processes.
• Expertise in corporate taxation, VAT, transfer pricing and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with internal controls, risk management and governance frameworks.
• Fluency in French and professional level of English.

Responsabilités

• Lead monthly, semi-annual and annual closing processes with accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee all accounting activities and guide complex accounting matters.
• Manage BEA's tax compliance framework (CIT, VAT, transfer pricing).
• Drive continuous improvement of internal controls and governance.
• Coordinate audits with internal and external auditors and address findings.
• Contribute to Finance modernization through process automation and digitalization.
• Lead, coach and develop the Accounting team and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Support the Finance Director on strategic topics to evolve the function.
