Job summary

ING Belgium is seeking an IT Solution Architect with a strong interest in Know Your Customer (KYC). You will craft resilient architectures for business and IT problems, aligning roadmaps across squads and Tribes, and guiding engineers to deliver customer value quickly.

You will collaborate with IT Integrators, Product Owners and Domain Architects, translating business requirements into sustainable technology solutions while balancing functional and non‑functional needs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in solution architecture or IT delivery.
• Affinity with architectural practices and translating business requirements into sustainable tech solutions.
• TOGAF/ArchiMate and/or Public Cloud certifications are considered a plus.
• Broad interest in banking tech; knowledge of Know Your Customer (KYC) is an asset.
• Proficient in English; Dutch or French also valued.

Responsibilities

• You collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to map dependencies.
• You design with engineers and Domain Architects to guide implementation.
• You drive complex changes across Tribes and ensure value delivery early.
• You align roadmaps between squads and other org parts, managing dependencies.
• You connect colleagues with varied expertise in self-steering teams and act as a trusted advisor.
• You drive the solution approach using deep IT and business knowledge.
