Pauwels Consulting in Brussels is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to optimize IT infrastructure and the application landscape for a major energy-sector client. You will design technical solutions for business challenges within the assets domain while modernizing the existing environment.

You will align stakeholders, support delivery teams, and deliver architecture designs that meet governance and standards, using ADR/ATAM for decision making.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture.
• Knowledge of TOGAF, ATAM, and CBAM.
• Familiar with DDD, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with ArchiMate modeling language.
• Proactive, autonomous and results-oriented.
• Fluent in English with good Dutch or French.

The role focuses on designing technical solutions for business challenges within the assets domain while modernizing the existing technical environment.

• Analyze functional and non-functional requirements to define architectural constraints and objectives.
• Conduct solution decomposition to create building blocks using established reference architectures and patterns.
• Align stakeholders across product organizations and delivery teams to maintain technical standards.
• Support delivery teams to ensure implementations follow the intended architecture design.
• Deliver comprehensive architecture designs that adhere to established vision and guidelines.
• Utilize governance structures and techniques like ADR or ATAM for gating and decision-making.

• 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture.
• You possess knowledge of IT standards and methodologies such as TOGAF, ATAM, and CBAM.
• You're familiar with modern architectural paradigms including Domain Driven Design (DDD), microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• You bring experience with Architecture Modeling Languages like ArchiMate.
• You are proactive, autonomous, and result-oriented.
• You are fluent in English with a good level of Dutch or French.

Nice to Haves

• Working experience in an Agile environment.
• Experience with GIS solutions, specifically ArcGIS.
• Functional knowledge of Asset Management.
• Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect.
