Yechte Consulting Ltd is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to translate complex requirements into robust architectural designs. You will align business needs with technical strategies, decomposing capabilities into building blocks and patterns for modern architectures.
You will collaborate across Product, Architecture and Delivery teams, ensuring governance and ADR/ATAM practices are followed while guiding stakeholders in agile environments.
Analyse and translate functional, non-functional, and technical requirements into appropriate architectural solutions.
Identify and analyse constraints to ensure solutions are aligned with business and technical needs.
Decompose business capabilities into relevant Solution Building Blocks, using appropriate architectural styles and patterns based on reference architectures.
Design and adapt technical solutions that address business challenges while supporting the modernization of the application landscape.
Act as the key link between Product, Architecture, and Delivery teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment across stakeholders.
Work closely with business stakeholders, IT stakeholders, and subject matter experts to understand requirements and define suitable solutions.
Participate actively in the delivery team and ensure that solutions are implemented in accordance with the approved architecture and design.
Develop architecture designs in line with the organisation’s Architecture Vision, standards, principles, and guidelines.
Provide solution designs based on experience in application architecture, integration design, and available technology platforms and tools.
Apply appropriate architectural patterns and modern architecture principles, including Domain-Driven Design, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
Participate in architecture governance and design lifecycle activities, including Design Boards, Architecture Decision Records (ADR), and Architecture Trade-off Analysis Method (ATAM).
Facilitate architectural discussions and use visual modelling/whiteboarding techniques to support decision-making and stakeholder alignment.
Ensure architectural decisions are clearly documented and aligned with established governance structures.
Contribute to continuous improvement by learning from previous experiences, sharing knowledge, and embracing new technologies and architectural approaches.
At least 6 years of relevant experience in a Solution Architect role.
Strong experience designing and adapting technical solutions to address complex business challenges.
Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and engage effectively with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
Strong understanding of application architecture and integration design.
Practical experience applying architecture standards and methodologies such as ArchiMate, TOGAF, ATAM, and CBAM.
Strong understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
Practical knowledge of modern architectural paradigms including microservices and event-driven architectures.
Experience working with reference architectures, architectural patterns, and Solution Building Blocks.
Experience participating in architecture governance, Design Boards, and architectural decision-making processes.
Familiarity with Architecture Decision Records (ADR) and architectural trade-off analysis.
Familiarity with ArchiMate and architecture modelling languages.
Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect or equivalent architecture modelling tools is a strong plus.
Ability to act as a bridge between Product, Architecture, and Delivery teams.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work effectively within an Agile environment.
Good level of English and Dutch and/or French is required.
Strong team-oriented mindset, openness to feedback, and willingness to share knowledge.
Results-oriented approach with the ability to turn architectural decisions into practical solutions.
Experience with GIS solutions, particularly ArcGIS.
Experience in Asset Management.
