Job summary

AYES Belgium is seeking a Software Test Engineer to develop and execute testing for software components, aligning with requirements and specifications. You will collaborate with development and verification teams to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance of the software.

The role emphasizes test automation, tooling improvement, and close cooperation with embedded or real-time systems teams, requiring proficiency in C/Python under a Linux environment.

Qualifications

• 1 to 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in software development and/or testing, ideally in embedded, real-time or safety-critical systems.
• Good programming skills in C and/or Python, with an interest in developing and improving testing tools.
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment and familiar with modern software development tools and environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and hands-on approach; good command of French and English.
