AYES Belgium is seeking a certified Electrical Engineer to design and improve electrical systems for engineering projects, collaborating with mechanical, software, and automation teams across the full project lifecycle.

You will perform calculations and simulations, select materials, and develop accurate BOMs while leveraging tools like EPLAN and MATLAB. The role supports an international, hybrid work environment with remote-friendly options and a strong focus on professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• First professional experience in electrical engineering or industrial systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical design tools such as EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, MATLAB/Simulink is an advantage.
• Fluent in English, Dutch and/or French is a plus.

What is your role?

• Design and improve electrical systems and components for engineering projects.
• Perform electrical calculations, technical analyses and simulations to ensure reliable and efficient solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, software, automation, etc.) throughout the project lifecycle.
• Select appropriate materials and components, and develop and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for electrical systems.

Who are we looking for?

• A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or any other related field.
• First professional experience in electrical engineering, electrical design or industrial systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical design tools such as EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, MATLAB/Simulink is an advantage.
• A proactive, analytical and solution-oriented engineer who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
• Fluent in English, Dutch and/or French is a plus.
