Job summary

DocShifter, a Belgium-based subsidiary of Ennov Group, is seeking a Software Engineer to join our engineering team. You will work across a modern Java + Angular stack, contributing to backend services and frontend features in production.

You will be mentored by senior engineers from day one and gain exposure to the full software lifecycle—from coding and reviews to deployments on Kubernetes and interactions with enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services in Java/Spring Boot, including REST APIs and data access.
• Build and enhance Angular admin interfaces with forms, data tables, and real-time updates.
• Contribute to document processing modules, including PDF handling and format conversion.
• Manage PostgreSQL schemas and Liquibase migrations; write unit/integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews, bug fixing, and CI/CD maintenance.
• Improve security, upgrade dependencies, and reduce technical debt while owning features.
