Brainsquare in Antwerp is seeking a Senior .NET Software Engineer to join a development team working on business-critical applications. You will design and develop backend components and REST APIs using C# and .NET 8, apply SOLID and Clean Architecture, and own delivery from design to implementation in a long-term assignment.

On-site three days a week with two days remote, you will collaborate with a skilled team and contribute to high-quality software delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in .NET development and REST APIs.
• Proven experience with C# and .NET 8.
• Experience with Entity Framework and SQL databases.
• Solid understanding of SOLID, Clean Architecture and DI.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of the technical design and development of backend components.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs using C# and .NET 8.
• Implement data access with Entity Framework and work with SQL databases.
• Apply SOLID principles, Clean Architecture and dependency injection to deliver maintainable code.
• Investigate technical issues and translate findings into practical solutions.
• Collaborate with the technical lead and team on implementation and integration decisions.
• Contribute to code quality through reviews, unit testing and automated testing practices.
• Communicate progress, technical decisions and delivery risks clearly.
