Job summary

Next Engineering is seeking a skilled Full Stack Java/Angular Developer in Belgium. You will develop and maintain front-end and back-end applications using Java and Angular, delivering features and fixes in a collaborative Agile team.

You will work with Java 21, Angular 21+, Spring ecosystem, and modern tech like Docker, Kubernetes, REST, Kafka, and CI/CD pipelines. English (B2) required, with fluency in French or Dutch. This is a full-time hybrid role with two days per week in the office.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java 21 and Angular 21+.
• Experience with TDD, DDD, Microservices and Hexagonal Architecture.
• Proficient in Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security and Hibernate.
• Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiar with CI/CD, GitLab, Jenkins and Artifactory.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Kafka and MQ.
• Good command of English (B2) with fluency in French or Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end and back-end applications using Java and Angular.
• Develop new features and analyse and fix bugs.
• Write automated tests and ensure code quality.
• Update technical documentation.
• Ship new software releases.
• Participate in code reviews and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
