Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd in Leuven collaborates with a globally recognised technology company to recruit a Software Architect for industrial imaging and image reconstruction. The role focuses on defining architectures across complex imaging applications, driving performance, scalability, and maintainability.

You will lead architectural decisions, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to high-performance software using C++, Python, and C#.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in software development and software architecture.
• Excellent programming skills in C++, with Python and/or C# experience.
• Solid knowledge of image processing and/or image reconstruction.
• Experience designing and developing complex, performance-critical software applications.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and evolve software architectures for complex industrial imaging systems.
• Lead technical decision-making and establish software design principles, standards, and best practices.
• Contribute to the development of high-performance applications using C++, Python, and C#.
• Work on image processing and image reconstruction algorithms to translate requirements into software solutions.
• Collaborate with developers, algorithm engineers, and other specialists to deliver integrated solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve software performance, maintainability, scalability, and reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout the lifecycle.
• Stay at the forefront of software engineering practices and technologies.
