Job summary

The role focuses on defining architectures across complex imaging applications, driving performance, scalability, and maintainability.

You will lead architectural decisions, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to high-performance software using C++, Python, and C#.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in software development and software architecture.
• Excellent programming skills in C++, with Python and/or C# experience.
• Solid knowledge of image processing and/or image reconstruction.
• Experience designing and developing complex, performance-critical software applications.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and evolve software architectures for complex industrial imaging systems.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to advanced imaging systems, working at the intersection of software architecture, image processing, and high-performance computing. You will play a key role in shaping the architecture of sophisticated software solutions that power next-generation industrial imaging technologies.

Your role

As a Software Architect, you will be responsible for defining and driving software architecture across complex imaging applications, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and high-performance.

Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will translate technical and business requirements into robust software designs while contributing to the development of innovative imaging and reconstruction technologies.

Key responsibilities:

• Define, design, and evolve software architectures for complex industrial imaging systems.

Essential skills and experience:

• Strong experience in software development and software architecture.
• Excellent programming skills in C++, alongside experience with Python and/or C#.
• Solid knowledge of image processing and/or image reconstruction.
• Experience designing and developing complex, performance-critical software applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate technically challenging environments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• A proactive mindset, with a passion for technical innovation and continuous improvement.

Nice to have:

• Experience in algorithmic engineering, algorithm development, or mathematical modelling.
• Background in industrial imaging, scientific imaging, computer vision, or similar technology-driven environments.
• Experience optimising computationally intensive applications or working with complex data processing pipelines.
