Job summary

Ayvens is seeking a SMR & Tyres Advisor to coordinate cross-department collaboration and enhance customer service in the Vehicle Operations team. You will support the full repair and maintenance cycle, inform customers of progress, and propose proactive solutions to keep mobility seamless.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in automotive technology, strong interest in digital communication, and excellent analytical and negotiation skills with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in automotive technology required.
• Strong interest in automotive tech and digital communication.
• Analytical with strong reasoning and process optimization skills.
• Proficient with Excel and Access; Cognos is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across departments to support customers and reduce worries.
• Monitor vehicle work, inform users of changes, and propose proactive solutions.
• Oversee repair and maintenance processes from start to finish, including invoicing.
• Improve process quality and optimize systems based on customer needs.
• Act as training partner for the Team Leader SMR & Tyres to elevate the department.

As a SMR & Tyres Advisor, you are responsible for ensuring close collaboration between departments, which is a major responsibility.

In the Vehicle Operations department, you work as part of a team of 22 colleagues, making sure that the mobile user can enjoy his vehicle without any worries and that he is always mobile.

You monitor work on the vehicle, inform the user of any changes and, if necessary, propose a proactive solution.

You will be involved in the entire repair and maintenance process from start to finish (including authorisation to carry out repair and maintenance work to monitor, guide and check the repair, maintenance and invoicing process).

As a SMR & Tyres Advisor, we expect you to be able to improve the quality of processes and optimise systems. This is done on the basis of our customers' needs.

What's more, you are a training partner for the Team Leader SMR & Tyres and know how to take the department to the next level with him.

Who are we looking for?

You have a bachelor's degree in an automotive technology field.

You have a keen interest in automotive technology and digital communication.

You are analytical, have strong thinking and reasoning skills and are able to optimise existing processes.

You get great satisfaction from working in Excel and Access; IBM Cognos is an asset.

• You are customer-oriented, communicative and able to negotiate with suppliers and partners.

You are determined, enterprising and innovative.

You work both independently and as part of a team.

You are perfectly bilingual in Dutch and French and fluent in English.
