Job summary

Ayvens is seeking a SMR & Tyres Advisor to join the Vehicle Operations team in Belgium. You will collaborate across departments to ensure seamless service delivery and monitor the vehicle lifecycle from initial inspection to invoicing.

You’ll optimise processes and empower the team with practical improvements, while leveraging Excel, Access, and Cognos to support data-driven decisions. A bilingual Dutch/French background with English fluency is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in automotive technology or equivalent.
• Strong interest in automotive tech and digital communication.
• Analytical mindset with process optimization skills.
• Proficient in Excel and Access; Cognos is a plus.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure close collaboration between departments within Vehicle Operations.
• Monitor vehicle-related processes and propose proactive solutions.
• Oversee repair and maintenance workflow from start to finish.
• Improve process quality and optimize systems based on customer needs.
• Mentor Team Leader SMR & Tyres and contribute to departmental growth.

As a SMR & Tyres Advisor, you are responsible for ensuring close collaboration between departments, which is a major responsibility. In the Vehicle Operations department, you work as part of a team of 22 colleagues, making sure that the mobile user can enjoy his vehicle without any worries and that he is always mobile. You monitor work on the vehicle, inform the user of any changes and, if necessary, propose a proactive solution.

You will be involved in the entire repair and maintenance process from start to finish (including authorisation to carry out repair and maintenance work to monitor, guide and check the repair, maintenance and invoicing process).

As a SMR & Tyres Advisor, we expect you to be able to improve the quality of processes and optimise systems. This is done on the basis of our customers' needs. We give you the space to put your own ideas into practice. What's more, you are a training partner for the Team Leader SMR & Tyres and know how to take the department to the next level with him.

Who are we looking for?

• You have a bachelor's degree in an automotive technology field.
• You have a keen interest in automotive technology and digital communication.
• You are analytical, have strong thinking and reasoning skills and are able to optimise existing processes.
• You get great satisfaction from working in Excel and Access; IBM Cognos is an asset.
• You are customer-oriented, communicative and able to negotiate with suppliers and partners.
• You are determined, enterprising and innovative.
• You work both independently and as part of a team.
• You are perfectly bilingual in Dutch and French and fluent in English.
