As a supervisor, you will be a part of the operations crew for this high‑end project. You will be the first point of contact for the team, as well be a familiar face on site for the client. As a true coach you will oversee the environment to check if everything is up to the Sarens standards and if every team member is operating in their own full potential.

Your Job As Supervisor In a Nutshell

• Safety is always top‑of‑mind
• Coaching and assisting crane operators and riggers on a day‑to‑day basis
• Daily communication with the team about the duties/ project
• Inspect equipment and see if they are conform to standards
• Checking lifting plans and check if they are consistent with current conditions
• Reporting, discussing and resolving on‑site ad hoc problems
• Function as a point of contact with the client regarding practical concerns

In this position, you will report to the Site manager and Project manager. You will work with your assigned team of crane operators and riggers to complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner. In addition, you will be part of big on‑site operational crew: riggers, crane operators, site managers, SHEQ coordinators, project managers, other supervisors.

About You.

We are looking for an experienced supervisor, a stress‑resistant initiator and coach. A high degree is a nice asset, but at Sarens we attach more importance to the right mentality: a natural born communicator, a hands‑on team coach, an eye for safety and a flexible attitude.

The Profile Requirements

• Proven experience in the heavy lifting world, preferably as a site supervisor or a similar function. An experienced Rigger or Crane operator (mobile, telescopic crane) with ambitions is also a possibility!
• Basic knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics
• Experience in reading and interpreting lifting plans. Hoisting, crane, and safety certificates are big assets.
• Solid knowledge of English to ensure smooth communication on site
• Basic computer skills
• EU Nationality

WE OFFER

• Project Based, Belgian contract - full‑time (Possible in a rotation system). Estimated time: 2 years
