Siemens Energy in Belgium seeks an experienced Site Manager for Synchronous Condenser projects. You will lead on-site construction and commissioning activities, coordinating with engineering teams in Bruges and global partners to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field, extensive experience in construction management for complex industrial projects, and fluency in English to collaborate across international teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Significant experience in construction management or site engineering on complex industrial projects.
• Experience in energy sector, HV substations, or power generation facilities preferred.
• Strong understanding of high-voltage equipment and electrical environments.
• Excellent subcontractor coordination and on-site execution oversight.
• Ability to work independently in an international, multicultural environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead on-site construction activities for large-scale SynCon projects.
• Plan and manage site resources, including personnel, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact with engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality requirements, and project specs.
• Oversee site inspections, progress, and resolve technical/logistical challenges.
• Support lessons learned and develop internal expertise in syncond technology.
