Siemens Energy in Belgium is seeking a Site Manager for Synchronous Condenser projects. Based predominantly on construction sites in Belgium, you will lead construction and commissioning activities in close coordination with engineering teams in Bruges, ensuring safe, high-quality, and on-time execution.

You will manage subcontractors, uphold HSE standards, and contribute to expanding Siemens Energy's expertise in syncon technology to support the energy transition across Europe.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical/Industrial Engineering or Construction Management.
• Significant experience in construction management or site engineering on complex industrial projects, energy sector, high-voltage substations, or power generation facilities.
• Strong understanding of high-voltage equipment and critical electrical environments.
• Strong subcontractor coordination and site management skills.
• Ability to work independently in an international, multicultural environment.
• Fluent English required to collaborate with German teams and international partners.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate all on-site construction activities for large-scale projects.
• Plan and manage site resources, including personnel, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Act as the primary on-site point of contact, ensuring effective communication with engineering teams and all project stakeholders.
• Ensure rigorous compliance with HSE standards, quality requirements, and project technical specifications.
• Oversee site inspections, construction progress, and the resolution of technical and logistical challenges.
• Contribute to lessons learned initiatives and help develop internal expertise in synchronous condenser technology.
