Nouvall Engineering Services BV seeks a Social Compliance & Process Improvement Lead to ensure Belgian labour law compliance for migrant workers and to support in investigating non-conformities and grievances.

The role involves monitoring subcontractors, auditing documents, generating regular reports and coordinating with authorities and auditors, with a mix of site and home-based work.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Belgian/EU labour law for migrant workers, or willingness to learn.
• Willing to work 4 out of 5 days on a construction site in the harbour of Antwerp plus 1 day work from home.
• Construction site experience is a bonus.

Responsabilités

• Monitor subcontractors, identify red flags.
• Check compliance of documents (A1, Limosa, permits) with law and policy; verify labour inspection if needed.
• Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports; follow up on corrective actions with contractors.
• Ensure high data quality and accuracy.
• Communicate with security department (1st Line of Defense).
• Prepare meetings with contractors, authorities, auditors, etc.
• Assist in on-site spot checks and audits.
• Support grievance mechanism: investigation and handling of external complaints.
