GENT LOGISTICS in Ghent is seeking a Shift Leader to guide warehouse operations, supervise a team, and drive productivity, efficiency and safety.

You will plan daily activities, optimize layouts, monitor inbound/outbound goods, and ensure procedures are followed while reporting KPIs and maintaining equipment safety.

Responsabilités

• Lead the warehouse team by daily briefings, monitoring performances and providing feedback
• Plan, schedule and manage daily warehouse activities to meet production deadlines
• Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize efficiency and reduce bottlenecks
• Monitor the timely receipt, storage and dispatch of goods
• Maintain safety standards and company policies through audits and corrective actions
• Monitor warehouse equipment and collaborate with maintenance team
• Prepare and submit reports on productivity, inventory accuracy and KPIs
• Document operational procedures and ensure team compliance

For a leading company in automotive logistics located in Ghent, we are looking for a Shift Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the warehouse operations, guiding a team to guarantee productivity, efficiency, and safety.

• leading the warehouse team by giving daily briefings, monitoring performances, and providing feedback
• planning, scheduling, and managing daily warehouse activities to meet production deadlines
• optimizing the warehouse layout and workflows to maximize efficiency and reduce bottlenecks
• monitoring the timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of incoming and outgoing goods
• maintaining safety standards and company policies by performing regular audits and implementing corrective actions
• monitoring the condition of warehouse equipment (such as forklifts and conveyors) and collaborating with the maintenance team
• preparing and submitting reports on productivity, inventory accuracy, and other key performance indicators (KPIs)
• documenting operational procedures and ensuring team members understand and comply with them
