imec in Genk, Belgium, invites applications for a Master internship spanning 6-9 months in the MPOWER and Thin Film Photovoltaics teams. The role focuses on bypass-enabling interconnections for shade-tolerant perovskite modules, with hands-on lab work, device fabrication and advanced characterization.

The project offers a pathway to a PhD proposal and supports a hands-on, research-driven environment at the EnergyVille campus.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Engineering, Science or related field.
• Hands-on laboratory experience in materials or PV research is preferred.
• Interest in photovoltaics, polymers and materials characterization welcome.

Mansioni

• Develop and evaluate interconnection concepts for thin-film PV.
• Fabricate and characterize modules using IV, EL and PL imaging.
• Study defects, current pathways and degradation behaviour in devices.
• Collaborate with MPOWER and Thin Film PV teams in Genk.
