Description du poste

Do you enjoy working independently, do you relish solving technical challenges, and do satisfied customers give you a real boost? If so, we have a great opportunity for you! To expand our service team in Belgium, we are looking for an enthusiastic Service Technician who is keen to roll up their sleeves and support customers with innovative technical solutions.

About the role

What are you going to do?

As a Service Technician in Belgium, you are RAVAS’s figurehead for our customers. You will work independently from home and visit customers across Belgium. Thanks to your technical knowledge and customer-focused approach, you will ensure that our systems continue to function optimally.

Your duties will include:

  • Identifying, analysing and resolving faults on site;
  • Installing, configuring, calibrating and, where necessary, re‑calibrating our weighing systems;
  • Carrying out (preventative) maintenance, inspection and calibration work on mechanical, electrical and software‑controlled systems in accordance with the schedule;
  • Liaising daily with the Service Coordinator and/or Technical Support regarding scheduling, progress and customer enquiries;
  • Advising customers on the use and maintenance of systems, whilst ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction;
  • Ensuring the correct administrative processing of work orders, certificates and service reports in our systems;
  • Actively contributing to improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks and proposing improvements.

No two days are the same. One day you might be resolving a technical fault, the next you might be installing a system or advising a customer on how to make the best use of our solutions.
