BNY is seeking a Senior Vice President, Legal Entity Risk to join its team in Brussels, Belgium. The role centers on second-line risk oversight, ensuring compliance with Enterprise Risk Management standards and risk governance across the Legal Entity.

Responsibilities include presenting risk data to CRO, guiding the first and second lines of defense, and advising on regulatory requirements and risk controls for new initiatives, while collaborating with the LE Executive Team.

Qualifications

• Preferred secondary/university graduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in financial services, Enterprise Risk or Compliance and/or internal audit.

Responsabilités

• Ensures the Entity is compliant with Enterprise Risk Management standards and governance.
• Manages the risk governance cycle and supports CRO with key risk data presentations.
• Provides oversight and challenge to the first and second lines of defense.
• Interprets regulatory requirements and advises on risk controls.
• Engages with strategic initiatives focusing on risk management solutions.
