Koda Tech is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer for a Brussels-based project. You will develop automated tests and reports to ensure automated regression testing across the software development life cycle.

The role involves analyzing the software to be tested and contributing to test strategy based on functional and non-functional constraints. You will define test scenarios from specifications and execute test cases either manually or using automation tools.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in scripting and modern Java (recent use within last year).
• Experience with Cucumber and API testing with Rest-Assured is a plus.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to test strategy based on functional analysis and non-functional constraints (e.g., performance).
• Define and describe test scenarios based on specifications (epics and stories).

Focussed within the software solutions sector, we are helping a Brussels based company to find a Senior Test Automation Engineer for a brand new project.

What will your role be?

• Develop automated tests + reports to ensure at least automated regression tests at all stages of the software’s development life.
• Understand and know the analysis of the software to be tested
• Participate in test strategy (based on functional analysis, and non functional constraints - as performance by example)
• Define and describe the test scenarios based on specification (based on epics and stories)
• Execute test cases either manually or using test execution tools

What are you skilled in?

• Scripting
• Java (Must be recently using this in the last year of work)

• Rest-Assured for API Testing(Not essential knowledge but nice to have)

This is a permanent employee position based in Brussels where you will be required to work 2 days a week onsite with 3 days remote working.
