Koda Tech in Brussels is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer to lead automated testing for a brand new project. You will develop automated tests and reports, analyze the software under test, and contribute to the overall test strategy.

The role requires hands-on experience with Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Cucumber, plus SQL for API-related testing. The position is permanent and based in Brussels with a hybrid work arrangement (2 days onsite, 3 days remote).

Qualifications

• 6+ years of test automation experience.
• Recent Java experience (within the last year).
• Proficient with Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber.
• Knowledge of SQL and API testing practices.

Responsabilités

• Develop automated tests and reports to support regression testing at all stages.
• Understand the software under test and its analysis.
• Contribute to test strategy based on functional and non-functional constraints.
• Define test scenarios from epics and stories, and execute test cases manually or with automation tools.

Focussed within the software solutions sector, we are helping a Brussels based company to find a Senior Test Automation Engineer for a brand new project.

What will your role be?

• Develop automated tests + reports to ensure at least automated regression tests at all stages of the software’s development life.
• Understand and know the analysis of the software to be tested
• Participate in test strategy (based on functional analysis, and non functional constraints - as performance by example)
• Define and describe the test scenarios based on specification (based on epics and stories)
• Execute test cases either manually or using test execution tools

What are you skilled in?

• Test Automation (6+ Years experience)
• Scripting
• Java (Must be recently using this in the last year of work)
• Cucumber
• SQL
• Selenium web driver
• Rest-Assured for API Testing(Not essential knowledge but nice to have)

This is a permanent employee position based in Brussels where you will be required to work 2 days a week onsite with 3 days remote working.
