E.ON Power Plants Belgium bvba in Mechelen is seeking a Technical Project Manager Energy Generation to lead delivery of large-scale on-site energy projects. You will coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams across design, build, own and operate phases.

The role requires a master’s degree and senior PM experience in energy projects, with EPC/multi-lot exposure and Dutch/English fluency.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Senior-level experience in technical project management within the energy, power generation, or industrial infrastructure sector.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale energy generation projects with EPC/multi-lot execution.
• PM certification (PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Experience with permitting processes in Belgium and/or the Netherlands is a strong advantage.
• Fluent in Dutch (C2) and English (C1); additional languages a plus.
• Willingness to travel with on-site presence depending on project phase.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the successful delivery of large-scale on-site energy generation projects, including planning, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up
• Act as the primary technical project interface between clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders in DBOO (Design, Build, Own & Operate) projects
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and manage interfaces with project development, commercial, procurement, and legal functions
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and change control processes
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, regulations, environmental requirements, and HSE policies
• Review and approve technical specifications, engineering deliverables, and contractor documentation through to handover to the team Operations & Maintenance
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions where necessary
• Lead project meetings, progress reviews, and stakeholder communications
