Barco is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Kortrijk, Belgium, to design and build high-performance visualization platforms used globally. You will develop UI components, connect frontend with server-side logic, and contribute to backend systems.

A strong focus on testing, quality, and collaboration with cross-functional teams is expected. You should have a relevant degree, about five years of experience, strong Linux knowledge, and excellent English communication.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Multimedia & Communication Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and maintain dynamic user interfaces and reusable web components across products.
• Integrate front-end applications with server-side logic.
• Develop and maintain robust, scalable and reliable backend solutions.
• Ensure system performance, reliability and data integrity.
• Write efficient, reusable and maintainable code.
• Develop and maintain automated tests to support software quality.
• Contribute to design and code reviews to help maintain high engineering standards.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners and product managers to share ideas and knowledge.
