Barco Control Rooms is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to shape high-performance visualization platforms used worldwide. You will design and implement dynamic user interfaces, integrate front-end with server-side logic, and build robust backend solutions.

The role emphasizes automated testing, code quality, and collaboration with product owners and managers. A strong background in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python and Linux is required, with English proficiency and team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Multimedia & Communication Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in full-stack software development using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js and Python.
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborative team player with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.

• Design, develop and maintain dynamic user interfaces and reusable web components across products.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Multimedia & Communication Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in full-stack software development using technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js and Python.
• Approximately five years of relevant experience is preferred, although skills, impact and potential are valued above a specific number of years.
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks .
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Eager to learn , grow and stay up to date with industry developments.
• Able to provide constructive and insightful design and code reviews.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• A collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
