Barco Immersive Experiences (IX) in Kortrijk, Belgium, is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer Electronics to lead high-speed digital hardware design for DLP-based projection systems. You will shape concepts, define architectures, and drive validation across the product lifecycle.
You will collaborate with FPGA and software teams, select components, ensure EMI/EMC compliance, and support manufacturing transitions.

Our R&D teams develop advanced video projection systems based on Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology and solid-state illumination sources, including lasers, LEDs, and phosphor-based systems. As part of our international engineering organization, you will collaborate with colleagues across Belgium and China to shape the next generation of professional projection solutions.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer Electronics to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, validation, and maintenance of high-speed digital electronic systems for advanced DLP-based video projection systems.
You will work throughout the complete product lifecycle, from concept and architecture definition to product validation, manufacturing support, and maintenance of existing hardware platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong expertise in high-speed digital design with practical experience in FPGA-based systems, microcontrollers, component selection, and hardware lifecycle management.
The role focuses on high-speed video control electronics and control boards for fans, motor drivers, and solid-state illumination systems based on lasers, LEDs, and phosphor light sources. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will develop reliable, efficient, and high-performance electronic solutions that help deliver innovative video projection systems.
