Barco Immersive Experiences (IX) in Kortrijk, Belgium, is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer Electronics to lead high-speed digital hardware design for DLP-based projection systems. You will shape concepts, define architectures, and drive validation across the product lifecycle.

You will collaborate with FPGA and software teams, select components, ensure EMI/EMC compliance, and support manufacturing transitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in electronic hardware design.
• Strong signal integrity, power integrity, EMC/EMI knowledge.
• Experience with FPGAs and/or microcontrollers.
• Proficient in VHDL and FPGA development flows.
• Schematic capture and PCB design experience.
• Knowledge of DDR, Ethernet, USB interfaces.
• Python, C, or C# for test automation; lab tooling experience.

Responsabilités

• Design high-speed digital circuits and multilayer PCBs for DLP-based projection systems.
• Create schematics and support PCB development using Siemens Xpedition.
• Develop hardware architectures for FPGA and microcontroller designs.
• Design/ integrate high-speed interfaces (DDR, Ethernet, USB).
• Perform schematic capture, design reviews, and signal integrity assessments.
• Collaborate with FPGA, software, optical, mechanical, thermal, and manufacturing teams.
• Ensure EMC/EMI, reliability, safety, and quality requirements.
• Support transition from development to manufacturing and legacy support.
