Jefferson Wells Belgium is seeking a Software Engineer to join an R&D team developing propulsion systems for commercial mobility. You will contribute to software development, simulation, validation and system integration.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Engineering, 5–8 years in software engineering, and strong MATLAB/Simulink expertise. English proficiency and a proactive, autonomous mindset are essential; automotive or powertrain experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
5–8 years of experience in Software Engineering.
Experience in Automation and/or Control Systems.
Strong knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink.
Experience in simulation, testing, validation and data analysis.
Fluent English; autonomous and proactive mindset.

Responsabilités

Develop and improve software functionalities and control strategies.
Support system calibration, tuning, and integration activities.
Develop and maintain models using MATLAB/Simulink.
Execute simulations and analyze system performance.
Prepare and perform testing and validation activities.
Analyze test results and prepare technical reports.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
