Alstom is seeking a Traction Software Development Engineer to design and test embedded software for traction converters. You will collaborate with software, validation, and control teams to ensure safety-compliant, high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities include developing software in Matlab/ControlBuild, translating requirements, and supporting on-site testing with international teams. Strong English, master’s degree, and 2+ years in real-time embedded software are required.

Qualifications

Master degree in Engineering (Software, Electronics, Control Systems, or related field).
Minimum 2 years of experience in real-time embedded software development.

Responsabilités

Develop and code application software for traction and auxiliary converters in Matlab & ControlBuild.
Translate functional requirements into detailed software specifications.
Ensure compliance with EN 50657 & EN 50128 safety standards.
Manage software configuration and change control processes.
Participate in software design reviews and ensure quality documentation.
Support bench testing activities to validate software performance.
Collaborate with international teams on validation and report consolidation.
Assist commissioning teams during on-site field testing and troubleshooting.
