Pauwels Consulting is seeking a Senior Operational Officer to drive operational transformation in a complex multi-vendor IT environment. You will establish governance structures, embed SIAM and ITIL 4 best practices, and oversee large-scale outsourcing and service transitions to ensure consistent service delivery.

The role requires extensive IT operations/ITSM experience, strong stakeholder management, and fluency in Dutch or French with English proficiency.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in IT environments.
• 10+ years in IT Operations or IT Service Management.
• Proven experience implementing SIAM in multi-vendor environments.
• Extensive experience designing/optimizing IT governance and ITSM processes.
• Leadership in operational transformation or large-scale outsourcing.
• Experience coordinating service transitions and supplier onboarding with risk focus.
• 3+ years applying ITIL with ITIL 4 Foundation or higher.
• Fluent in Dutch or French (C1/C2) and English (at least B2).

Responsabilités

• Design and maintain operational governance frameworks across the IT organization.
• Lead the implementation of SIAM to enable collaboration among multiple providers.
• Embed ITIL 4 best practices across the service lifecycle.
• Manage operational transformation initiatives including large-scale outsourcing.
• Coordinate service transitions, onboarding, knowledge transfer, and readiness assessments.
• Monitor supplier performance via KPIs, SLAs, and OLAs for compliance and stability.
