Elia Group is seeking a Risk Manager to join the P2MO department within Grid Solutions, coordinating risk, schedule and quality for projects and maturing project management practices. Based in Brussels, you will lead risk plans, analyze program risk, and guide mitigation with EPC contractors.

Requirements include a Master’s degree and at least 5 years in risk management, with PMI/PMBOK familiarity and fluency in Dutch and French, plus good English.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management
• Knowledge of risk management techniques, methodologies and tools
• Strong project management capabilities with a high learning curve
• Knowledge of PMI/PMBOK project management methodology and large infrastructure risks is an asset
• Proactive, strong communicator and team player
• Fluency in Dutch and French, with a good knowledge of English

Responsabilités

• Ensure the Risk Management Plan’s processes and procedures are implemented, respected and suggest improvements to the risk management methodology
• Organize Risk Management meetings and report on program risks
• Audit ongoing risk management of the EPC contractors and exchange relevant information
• Log identified risks in a tool, assess risk impacts, and identify and follow up on mitigation actions
• Conduct simulations and Monte‑Carlo analysis on cost and planning (contingency calculation)
• Provide expertise input to program members on risk management
