Job summary

Imec in Leuven, Belgium invites an experienced IC design researcher to join the RF/mmWave and High-Speed ADC team. You will design and innovate high-speed, low-power RF and analog/mixed-signal ICs in advanced CMOS and III-V technologies, and contribute to publishing results.

You will collaborate with international experts, drive architecture evolution, participate in external collaborations, and mentor junior researchers.

Qualifications

• PhD in high-speed analog/mixed‑signal and RF/mm‑wave IC design or equivalent.
• Experience with advanced CMOS technologies (28nm, 16nmFF, 5nm).
• Experience designing in III-V technologies.
• Strong understanding of transistor‑level circuits.
• Fluency in English and ability to collaborate in an international team.

Responsibilities

• Research and design innovative high-speed, low-power RF and analog/mixed-signal ICs in CMOS and III-V technologies.
• Drive bottom-up evolution of circuits considering scaling.
• Collaborate with the team to bring new ideas and innovations.
• Engage with external partners and prospects; publish results in conferences/journals.
