Lensys is seeking a dedicated quality assurance professional to safeguard public safety IT systems. You will craft rigorous test scenarios, execute functional and regression tests, and ensure the highest quality for business-critical software in a socially significant environment.

You will work within the FOCUS team of the intelligence & innovation directorate, applying Agile/Scrum practices, using Jira and Confluence, and potentially Azure Test Plans or TestRail to manage test activities hybrid

• Ability to develop detailed test strategies and test plans.
• Create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases for functional, non-functional and regression tests.
• Perform thorough functional and regression testing and report defects clearly.

ACTIVITIES

• Test Strategy & Planning: Prepare detailed test plans and strategies for new features, releases, and system upgrades for large, business-critical applications.
• Scenario Development: Design, document, and maintain comprehensive test scenarios and test cases, covering functional, non-functional, and regression requirements.
• Test Execution: Perform thorough functional and regression tests, identifying defects, anomalies, and inconsistencies.
• Quality Monitoring: Monitor the quality of software releases, ensuring that all issues are tracked, resolved, and re-tested before deployment.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work in close collaboration with Business Analysts, Developers, and various business stakeholders to understand requirements, validate solutions, and provide clear progress updates.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the structured test approach, advocating for best practices and efficiency gains within the intelligence & innovation directorate.
