Vivid Resourcing is recruiting a Test Automation Engineer for a Brussels-based software organisation focusing on supply chain and security. You will design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks, work with developers, QA, and product owners to embed quality and automation across the lifecycle.

The role requires strong Java, Spring, JUnit, and Cucumber experience, CI/CD integration, and REST API testing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer or similar role in a software development environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and the Spring framework.
• Solid experience writing automated tests with JUnit and Cucumber (BDD).
• Familiarity with test automation best practices, including maintainable framework design and reusable test components.
• Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and testing them.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a strong asset.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall test strategy across projects
• Support performance, regression, and security testing efforts where required

We are working with a large-scale software development organisation based in Brussels, specialising in solutions for the supply chain and security industries.

As the company continues to scale, it is looking to strengthen its quality assurance capabilities with an experienced Test Automation Engineer.

The company is seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join its growing engineering team. The successful candidate will design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks that ensure the reliability and security of complex, large-scale software systems. This person will work closely with developers, QA colleagues, and product owners throughout the software development lifecycle to embed quality and automation best practices into every release.
