Qualifications

• At least five years of project management experience, ideally within a PMO.
• Familiarity with PRINCE2, PMBOK, SAFe and Scrum; PMP is valuable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships, align stakeholders and guide change.
• Organized, independent and results-oriented working style.
• Interest in improving ways of working and sharing practical knowledge.
• Experience mentoring colleagues, delivering training or facilitating knowledge-sharing sessions is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of project delivery.
• Translate objectives into a clear scope, milestones and delivery plan.
• Coordinate teams, allocate resources, monitor expenditure, timelines and quality.
• Track progress, address issues and adjust approach to stay on track.
• Lead projects through to completion with stakeholder support.
• Maintain effective communication between teams, sponsors and the wider organization.
• Organise and facilitate steering committees, meetings and discussions to resolve issues and move work forward.
• Provide portfolio/program managers with assessments of feasibility, risks, progress and impact.
• Help align project priorities with organizational strategy and provide input for portfolio decisions.
• Provide sponsors and governance bodies with timely, reliable information for decision-making.
• Contribute to PMO development by identifying practical improvements to delivery methods and governance.
• Create and introduce shared processes, templates, standards and dashboards.
• Apply established practices consistently and share lessons learned.
