ALTEN Belgium is seeking a Senior Sub-System Manager to lead cross-functional teams on client projects in Charleroi. You will oversee planning, budgeting, risk assessment, and stakeholder coordination, delivering milestones with strong reporting and KPI tracking.

The role requires 7–10 years in project or work package management within rail/transport, aerospace/defense, automotive, or industrial domains, and fluency in English (French a plus). Local travel and remote work options are available.

Senior Sub-System Manager – English required - ALTEN Belgium

As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Senior Sub-System Manager to join our teams and work on client projects located in Charleroi.

The Position

As a Sub-System Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones and objectives.
• Managing planning, budgeting, risk assessment, and stakeholder coordination.
• Ensuring robust reporting, including monthly project reviews and KPI tracking.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve project challenges.
• Representing the project in interactions with customers and partners when necessary.

Your Profile

• Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree
• Experience: 7–10 years in project management, work package management, or a similar role
• Industry Background: Experience in rail/transport, aerospace/defense, automotive, or industrial projects
• Language Skills: Fluent in English, with French as a plus
• International Exposure: Experience working in multinational environments
• Key Skills: Cross-functional team coordination, multi-site project execution, stakeholder and supplier management, strong reporting and financial tracking
• Soft Skills: Proactive, adaptable, structured, and results-driven mindset
