Akkodis is seeking a Subsystem Manager in Belgium to lead and coordinate multiple technical subsystems through the full project lifecycle. You will ensure compliance with technical requirements, timelines, budgets, and quality while interfacing with engineering teams, suppliers, customers, and stakeholders.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, define requirements, monitor progress, and support testing and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent).
• 2 to 10 years of experience in engineering within an industrial environment.
• Experience coordinating a subsystem, product, or technically complex scope is an asset.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary and international teams in a multicultural environment.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken).

Responsabilités

• Lead the development and integration of the assigned subsystems.

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including Engineering, Quality, Industrialization, Procurement, Suppliers, and Production.
• Manage technical interfaces between subsystems and ensure seamless integration.
• Monitor project progress in terms of schedule, budget, quality, and risk management.
• Validate technical solutions, design modifications, and associated documentation.
• Support verification, validation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Identify technical risks, define mitigation plans, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Serve as the main technical point of contact for customers, suppliers, and partners.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies.

As a Subsystem Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating one or more technical subsystems throughout the entire project lifecycle.
