ALTEN Belgium is hiring a Junior Supply Chain Engineer to support projects in Brussels. You will coordinate supply chain activities, monitor inventory, analyze data, and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely procurement.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in a related field, about one year of experience, and proficiency with PowerBI. English fluency is required, with French or Dutch a plus.

Junior Supply Chain Engineer - English required - ALTEN Belgium

The Position

As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Supply Chain Engineer, to join our teams and work on client projects located in Brussels.

As a Supply Chain Engineer, your main responsibilities will include :

• Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate and facilitate seamless supply chain operations.
• Inventory control: Assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, analyzing demand patterns, and implementing effective replenishment strategies.
• Data Analysis: Utilize analytical tools and techniques to interpret data, identify trends, and provide insights that support informed decision-making.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
• Order Fulfillment: Monitor order processing and fulfillment activities to meet customer expectations. Address any issues related to order accuracy and timeliness.
• Kaizen: Actively participate in the continuous improvement of supply chain processes. Propose and implement enhancements to streamline operations and reduce costs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams such as logistics, finance, and sales to align supply chain activities with overall business goals.

Your profile:

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• 1 year of experience in supply chain management or a related role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and draw insights from data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
• Familiarity with PowerBI.
• Fluent in English; additionally French or Dutch is a plus.
