ALTEN Belgium is seeking a System Engineer to join our teams in Brussels. The role involves designing system architecture, specifying requirements, developing and integrating the system, and guiding product evolution.

Strong English is mandatory with French or Dutch as well, and familiarity with DOORS and MATLAB/Simulink is required. You will collaborate with clients to redefine and validate their needs while benefiting from a permanent contract, company car, meal vouchers, and remote work

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering (electronics, electromechanics or mechatronics).
• 1+ year experience in an industrial environment (railway, automotive, aeronautics or defence).
• Knowledge of writing requirements.
• Knowledge of the tools: DOORS, MATLAB/Simulink.

The Position

As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a System Engineer to join our teams and work on client projects located in Brussels.

As a System Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

• Design the architecture of the system
• Specify the system by constructing the requirements of it
• Develop the system
• Do the integration of the system
• Decide the orientation of new products development
• Design the evolution of existing systems
• Do the impact analysis of new requirements or non-conformities
• Be in contact with the client to redefine and validate its need

Your profile:

• You have a master’s degree in engineering, specialized in, electronics or electromechanics or mechatronics
• You have 1+ year experience in an industrial environment (railway, automotive, aeronautics or defence)
• You have knowledge of writing requirements
• You have knowledge of the tools: DOORS, Matlab/Simulink
• You have good communication skills in English, French and/or Dutch
• You are rigorous and have a good organisation
