Job summary

Prothya Biosolutions Belgium seeks a Supervisor Engineering who will drive successful project implementations and act as a technical system owner for multiple systems. The role leads cross‑departmental project teams, ensures safety and quality, and coordinates with internal and external stakeholders.

You should hold a Master in engineering and have about five years of experience in industrial projects, preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Master in engineering technology (ING) or Master of engineering science (IR) or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in the construction, management, and optimization of technical systems within industrial projects (experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing is a plus).
• Knowledge of current standards and technologies in the industrial sector (pharma aasset).
• Knowledge of project management systems and tools (MS Office, MS Project).
• Knowledge of cGMP procedures and EMA/FDA requirements is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design projects focusing on internal customers’ needs (URS, load calculation, hydraulic analysis).
• Prepare phase activities (RFQ issuing & Tendering, Scheduling & Budgeting).
• Execute construction works & commissioning/qualification and ensure alignment with site specs.
• Lead cross‑departmental project teams and maintain a safe, healthy work environment.
• Handover of installed systems and training of operations.
• Develop SOPs and support operational excellence.
