Job summary

Accenture Construct is seeking a seasoned cost/financial analyst to join its team. You will own the cost control process across large, regulated utility projects, delivering accurate budget forecasts, variance analysis and detailed reporting to senior management.

You will work with cross-functional teams, develop integrated analyses, and ensure data integrity in monthly/quarterly/annual reports. The role emphasizes strategic cost optimization and transparent financial planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• 8 years of experience in accounting / cost controls / cost analysis within a regulated utility.

Responsibilities

• Research and assemble cost performance information.
• Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports and presentations.
• Create and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual reports and ensure financial information is recorded accurately.
• Provide variance reporting and analysis to highlight deviations from the project plan.
• Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to senior management.
• Perform budget, financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
• Maintain management tracking spreadsheets and pull data queries.
• Build relationships with the project team to ensure timely, accurate flow of cost information.
