NN Group in Brussels is seeking a Senior Product Manager to shape and grow our insurance solutions for small businesses and self-employed clients. You will lead product development, govern all lifecycle stages from concept to launch, and work with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure profitable offerings.

• Experience as underwriting assistant or underwriter within this segment is asset.

Are you ready to shape the future of our insurance solutions for small enterprises and self-employed clients? As a Senior Product Manager, you play a key role in developing, positioning and ensuring the profitability of our product offering within the business segment.

What does your job as a Senior Product Manager look like?

In this role, you combine strategic thinking with hands‑on execution:

• You take the lead in developing and improving products and services for small businesses and self-employed clients
• You coordinate the full product development lifecycle, from concept, conditions and governance to launch preparation, working closely with multiple internal stakeholders
• You monitor market trends and evolving customer needs, translating them into innovative product solutions
• You help define the positioning of our product portfolio across the market and our distribution channels
• You analyze market data, customer insights and distributor needs to support strategic decision‑making
• You monitor product profitability and initiate targeted improvements where needed
• You build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal product positioning

This is how you perfectly fit into the team

• You have a strong and broad knowledge of business insurance (including Property, Motor, Liability, Business Interruption, Accident and Electronics)
• You have at least 5 years of experience as a product manager within an insurance company in one or more of these areas. Experience as an underwriting assistant or underwriter within this segment is considered an asset
• You are familiar with the business insurance market and the broker landscape
• You combine analytical thinking with a customer- and results-oriented mindset and take initiative proactively
• You have strong communication and influencing skills to engage stakeholders at different levels
• You are fluent in Dutch and have a good command of French and English
• You are a team player, eager to learn and open to change
• You hold a master’s degree (preferably in law) or equivalent experience
