NN is seeking a Product Owner for Employee Benefits to shape and deliver the EB strategy. You will bridge business and IT, represent the business for key EB products, and drive digital journeys for employers, brokers and employees.

You will own the backlog, translate insights into features, and collaborate with Agile teams to realize strategic objectives. A strong insurance background in 2nd pillar/group insurances is essential, with an emphasis on transformation and customer experience.

What does your job as a Product Owner Employee Benefits look like?

As a Product Owner Employee Benefits (EB), you play a key role in shaping and delivering the Employee Benefits strategy. You represent the business for one or more key products and processes within the EB domain and act as the bridge between business and IT.

Employee Benefits at NN focuses on 2nd pillar / group insurances (pension, disability and death cover solutions) offered by employers to their employees.

The Product Owner will work on products, services and digital journeys supporting employers, brokers and affiliates (insured members).

You identify the needs of customers, distribution partners and employees and translate these insights into digital solutions and process improvements that create value. You drive the digitalization and innovation of our Employee Benefits offering and ensure that strategic objectives are translated into concrete initiatives, features and improvements.

By combining customer focus, business insight and digital expertise, you contribute to an outstanding customer and partner experience while helping NN achieve its Employee Benefits ambitions.

What will you do?

You define and communicate the vision, roadmap and priorities for one or more key products and processes within the Employee Benefits product(s).

You identify opportunities to improve and digitalize customer, partner and employee journeys.

You translate business needs, customer feedback, regulatory requirements and strategic objectives into clear features, epics and user stories.

You own and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and customer impact.

You collaborate closely with business stakeholders, Agile teams, architects, Domain Leads and other Product Owners.

You work with product developers, operations teams, customer service teams, distribution partners and portfolio managers to shape and deliver solutions.

You support Agile ceremonies such as PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Reviews and Retrospectives.

You validate delivered solutions and ensure they meet business requirements and expected customer outcomes.

You coordinate dependencies across teams and facilitate collaboration between all stakeholders involved.

You contribute actively to transformation initiatives and digitalization projects that support the Employee Benefits strategy.

You monitor market trends, customer expectations and technological developments and translate them into improvement opportunities.

You ensure sufficient alignment with business stakeholders and manage expectations in a transparent way.

Concrete challenges you will work on : Digitalizing our employer & affiliate journeys, improving the administration and servicing of 2nd pillar pension plans and group insurance products, maiking our processes simpler and more transparent for customers and partners.

For this role, strong business knowledge of Employee Benefits, 2nd pillar/ group insurance is essential. We are looking for someone who combines this domain expertise with the ability to shape products, improve customer journeys and manage priorities. Product Owner or Agile experience is valuable, but it does not replace the required insurance knowledge.

Proven experience in 2nd pillar / group insurances is considered a key success factor for this role.

At least 5 years of relevant experience in product ownership, digital transformation, customer journey redesign, project management or business transformation.

Experience managing initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.

Customer-focused mindset and end-to-end thinking.

Autonomous, hands-on and results-driven.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to balance long-term vision with short-term delivery.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, ideally within a SAFe framework.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Fluent in Dutch, French and English.

Enthusiastic team player who can bring people along in change.
