Job summary

OMP is seeking a Senior pre-sales consultant to craft engaging demos and proofs of concept, supporting the Business Development team as an industry advisor throughout the sales process. You will translate complex customer needs into high-level solution designs in collaboration with customers and internal centers of excellence.

You’ll join the Industry team within the Customer Solutions organization, guiding commercial and delivery teams with industry-specific expertise and ensuring compelling,

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Programming, or Supply Chain.
• 3-5 years of experience in supporting sales cycles.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain planning processes and solutions.
• Advanced industry knowledge.
• Experience in B2B sales, enterprise software solutions, cloud, IT, or supply chain management.
• Confident with complex customer needs and technology use cases.
• Passion for the supply chain industry.
• Understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
• Proficient in managing the sales pipeline using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce CRM.
• Open mindset, people-oriented attitude, and curiosity.
• Desire for responsibility and ownership.
• Excellent and empathetic communication skills in writing, presenting, demonstrating, and relationship building.
• Creative thinker with strong character and convincing personality.
• Willingness to travel and adapt working time and projects.
• Ability to work in intercultural teams and independently.

• Ability to translate prospect requirements into convincing supply chain demo story lines.

Responsibilities

• Understand competitive differentiators and unique selling points of targeted industry solutions.
• Develop and refine industry selling points and storylines for products.
• Showcase solutions at conferences through demos and product demonstrations.
• Create industry-specific product demos based on key differentiators.
• Provide input from prospects and market to the Standard Demo team.
• Expand the standard demo functionality in coordination with the Standard Demo team.
• Engage prospects by presenting demos and initiating conversations.
• Translate customer requirements into high-level solution designs with customers and centers of excellence.
• Document proposed solution scope and project approach.
• Support advisory assignments within the industry with the advisory team.
• Assist in RFx responses with solution and industry expertise and marketing support.
• Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers.
