E3G, the independent climate think tank, is seeking a Senior Policy Advisor to lead strategy on industrial decarbonisation and industrial policy in Europe.

You will develop policy propositions, engage EU policymakers, monitor developments, and translate analysis into practical recommendations, helping shape a climate‑neutral, competitive European economy.

This role involves leading advocacy, building networks with stakeholders, and contributing to fundraising and project development.

Qualifications

• Several years of relevant professional experience with progressively greater responsibility.
• A degree, professional qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant area.
• Strong background in industrial decarbonisation or industrial policy and knowledge of European climate and energy policy.

Responsabilités

• Lead development of E3G’s strategy and thought leadership on industrial decarbonisation and policy in the EU.
• Develop policy propositions and strategic recommendations translating analysis into actionable policy proposals.
• Monitor European and international policy developments and interpret implications for E3G’s work.
• Build E3G’s profile and strengthen relationships with EU decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Lead advocacy strategies and engage policymakers, industry, civil society and investors.
