E3G is seeking a Senior Researcher to accelerate decarbonisation and transformation of European industry in line with climate neutrality, competitiveness and resilience. The role blends policy research, political strategy and stakeholder engagement across EU ETS reform, industrial electrification and EU funding instruments.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of relevant professional experience.
• A degree, professional qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant area.
• Knowledge across more than one core policy area or industrial sectors is a plus.
• Good understanding of EU politics, institutions and policy processes.
• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to learn quickly and assess evidence.

Responsabilités

• Conduct research and analysis on EU industrial decarbonisation and policy.
• Develop practical policy recommendations and contribute to strategic policy work.
• Monitor EU policy developments and translate into analysis and recommendations.
• Produce clear briefings, reports, presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Engage policymakers and external stakeholders across government, civil society, industry and finance.
