E3G is seeking a Senior Researcher to accelerate the decarbonisation and transformation of European industry in Brussels or Berlin. The role blends policy research, political strategy and stakeholder engagement to advance reforms in areas such as the EU ETS, industrial electrification and EU funding instruments.

You will develop practical policy propositions, produce high-quality briefings and reports, monitor developments, and engage policymakers, civil society, business, industry and finance.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of relevant professional experience.
• A degree, professional qualification or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge in industrial decarbonisation, EU ETS, electrification or EU funding/investment.

Responsabilités

• Conduct research on EU industrial decarbonisation and policy areas including EU ETS and funding.
• Develop practical policy recommendations and contribute to political strategies.
• Monitor EU policy developments and translate them into timely analysis and recommendations.
• Produce clear briefings, reports, presentations and other materials.
• Engage policymakers, industry, civil society and other stakeholders.
