E3G is seeking a Senior Researcher to contribute to the EU Industry team, accelerating decarbonisation and transformation of European industry. The role blends policy research, political strategy, and stakeholder engagement across ETS reform, industrial electrification, and EU funding.

You’ll develop practical policy propositions, produce high-quality briefings, monitor policy developments, and engage policymakers and business to advance ambitious climate outcomes.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of EU politics, institutions and policy processes.

Responsabilités

• Conduct research and analysis on EU industrial decarbonisation and policy areas.
• Develop policy recommendations and contribute to political strategies.
• Monitor EU developments and translate into timely analysis and recommendations.
• Produce briefings, reports, and presentations for diverse audiences.
• Engage policymakers, industry, civil society and other stakeholders across projects.
